About
Healthy U is a Sexual Health Program originally designed for Justice-Involved Males. Healthy U incorporates games, dramatic narratives, peer-role models, information films and Imagination Challenges throughout the program.

Healthy U is self-directed by each student as they navigate through the program until they graduate and receive a certificate of successful completion.

Theoretical Foundation
Healthy U utilizes a Positive Youth Development Framework and addresses Optimum Health Domains.
Healthy U was designed around the CDC's 12 characteristics of effective behavioral health programs and is built on a theoretical foundation of behavior change including social learning theory, self-efficaciy and nudge theory.
In addition, dramatic narrative woven throughout the program drives emotional engagement with the material and activities connect youth to their futures.
